(b) Planning File 2718: Norbert Anderson request for a division ofa platted lot at <br />2096 Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />Chairperson Thomas opened the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Wall moved, seconded by Member Rengel, recommended continuation <br />of Norbert Anderson's request for a division of a platted lot at 2096 Lexington Avenue to <br />the January 11, 1995 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />The motion to continue failed on a 2 to 2 vote. Member Rengel asked if the applicant <br />needs to be at the meeting? (Although it is generally assumed an applicant will be present, <br />there is nothing in the City code that requires the applicant to be present). <br /> <br />Motion: Member Wall moved, seconded by Member , recommended denial of <br />Norbert Anderson's request for division of a platted lot at 2096 Lexington Avenue. <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Chairperson Thomas asked that Michael Falk provide a background report illustrating the <br />proposal to develop a 12,683 sq. ft. lot. Sewer and water would be required rrom Parker <br />Avenue. There are no variances necessary. The lots are flat and graded for housing. <br />Staff recommended approval. There were no questions or comments rrom the public. <br /> <br />Chairperson Thomas closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Sandstrom moved, seconded by Member Rengel, to recommend <br />approval of Norbert Anderson's request for division of a platted lot at 2096 Lexington <br />Avenue as per the staff report. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Rengel, Sandstrom, Thomas <br /> <br />Nays: Wall <br /> <br />7. OTHER ACTIONS: <br /> <br />(a) Dennis Welsch summarized activities the Commission had dealt with in 1994 <br />(including the Comprehensive Plan meetings) and thanked the Commission for its time <br />and perseverance. <br /> <br />3 <br />
