<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8,1995 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wall, Harms, Rengel, Thomas, Sandstrom, Wietecki <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked the staff to carry through the same landscape designs and <br />architectural concepts into the Harstad townhouse project. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Plannine File 2727: Abra, Inc. request for a special use permit for the operation <br />of an automotive wholesale fleet repair and reconditioning facility at 2033 West <br />County Road C-2. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki opened the hearing. <br /> <br />Mike Falk, City Planner, provided background on the request by the applicant to <br />utilize a portion of a multi-tenant building at 2033 W. County Road C-2 in an 1-1 <br />light industrial zone to operate an automotive wholesale fleet repair and <br />reconditioning shop. Mike Falk pointed out that the project as proposed would: <br />(1) be entirely within a building; and (2) have no outside storage. <br /> <br />Member Wall asked what other types of auto uses are in this facility? (Auto <br />repairs, paneling, warehousing, auto trim, auto bumpers.) <br /> <br />Member Thomas asked if ceiling and ventilation hood heights will be reviewed <br />for consistency with zoning standards. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked if the SUP goes with the land? (Yes.) <br /> <br />Member Wall asked the staff if this business is consistent with other uses in the <br />development? (Yes.) <br /> <br />Randy McPherson, Abra, Inc. explained the project. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki stated that this project should be: <br />(1) Limited to fleet repair <br />(2) No outside storage <br />(3) Will have a paint booth inside the building <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked Mr. McPherson if these conditions were acceptable? <br />(Yes.) <br /> <br />10 <br />
