Lon Aune described the ponding process. <br /> <br />Member Sandstrom asked, who will pays for pumping station? (Developer.) <br />Who pays for pumping pipe? (Not determined.) Who pays for cost of pumping? <br />(City.) Will pre-treatment completed - onsite? (Yes.) What is status of <br />Gryskiewizc property? (Attempt to acquire for additional ponding.) <br /> <br />Member Wall asked what the typical cost of pump and equipment is? ($100,000.) <br />Would city maintain the pumping station? (Yes.) <br /> <br />John Shardlow, Planner representing School District 623, discussed background <br />of project. He illustrated the site constraints, noting that 42% of the site was <br />undevelopable. A map of dumping/debris area was displayed. A series of <br />sections/elevations was used to display the lot depths and separation between land <br />uses. Shardlow displayed the phased, 3 year construction schedule on the site. <br /> <br />Member Harms asked whether a new builder will be required to follow same <br />covenants and PUD requirements as original builders? (Yes.) <br /> <br />John Shardlow summarized the project. He explained a preliminary design of the <br />neighborhood park suggested by the project designers, including ball fields, tennis <br />courts, play area, pathways, picnic areas, and parking lots. The developers have <br />proposed a "proof-of-park" clause in the Planned Unit Development which the <br />city would exercise if not satisfied with park. Pedestrian trails will be designed <br />from the south east corner of the site into the site and close to the Park entrance. <br /> <br />Member Thomas asked for clarification of the following issues: What are the <br />design and materials of the townhomes?
