City of Roseville
Planning Commission Minutes
July 12, 1995

Member Wall asked if there would be windows on the end, what the building height
would be, and if additional landscaping could be provided to soften the appearance of the
expanded building. Mr. Dunwell responded that there would be no windows that the
additions would be all brick, the overall height would be 12-13 feet, and that additional
landscaping could be provided.

Member Sandstrom asked if they considered a second level.

Tom Dunwell stated that they had, but it created operational and structural problems.

There was no public comment or questions. Chairman Wietecki closed the public
hearing.

MOTION: Member Thein moved and Member Wall seconded to recommend
approval of Roseville Good Samaritan Center's request for a variance to
the zoning ordinance at 1415 West County Road B to allow the
construction of an addition to the existing facility.

ROLL CALL:

Ayes: Wall, Sandstrom, Thein, Rhody, Harms and Wietecki
Nays: None.

Member Sandstrom stated that the variance would be justified because of the structural
hardship.

The Agenda order was altered to move up Item 8(a) because of audience members waiting
for this item to be considered.

8. Information. Reports. and Other Business.

(a) Sketch Plan for Rich Kettler:

City Planner Mike Falk gave a brief summary and background of this item.
