Planning Commission Minutes
October 11, 1995

requiring quarterly training sessions may be excessive. There may be a need to have
updates but not on a quarterly basis. However, she felt there should be a yearly training
seminar. Member Wall stated that a quarterly information session would be more
appropriate and that 18 months for training should read 6 months in order to get new
Planning Commission members up-to-date as quickly as possible. Member Harms
concurred.

Member Cunningham asked if mailing about seminars could be sent to the Commission.
Member Harms asked if the staff would spend more time with the Commission members.
Member Wall asked the Planning Commission to complete Item J within their Bylaws
which is the 14 ways to improve the Planning Commission.
