<br />Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />September 11, 1996 <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki opened the public hearing and requested Jay Kennedy to present a <br />summary ofthe 9/11/96 staff report. There are stoops in the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Jay Kennedy illustrated the right-of-way and road construction alignments, recommended <br />vacation oftwo, 28 foot wide road easements. <br /> <br />Steve Ring, 1455 Rose Place, noted that he lives on the north side of Rose Place. When <br />the road was reconstructed, the property was shifted to owners of property along the <br />south side. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki placed a letter from Ring/Redmond on file. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked if there were comments from the public. There were none. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Wietecki moved, seconded by Member Sandstrom, to recommend <br />approval ofthe City ofRoseville's request for a partial vacation of right-of-way on Rose <br />Place, from Snelling Curve, easterly to cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br />Ayes: <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Cunningham, Rhody, Sandstrom, Wilke, Wietecki <br />None <br /> <br />7. Presentations and Other Actions: <br /> <br />7(a) Michael Falk described changes in report form. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki stated that he liked the report format and the "up front" bullet <br />points because it is easy to review. <br /> <br />Falk noted that the Planning Commission actions "recommend" Council actions. <br /> <br />7(b) Chairman Wietecki asked for a Planning Commission volunteer for the <br />Infrastructure Committee, beginning October 14.
