Don’t Want office showroom at north either. Chairperson Keith Wietecki stated <br />there is a trade-off - industry vs. hotels. John Simpson asked if hotels could be <br />moved south to a point past Lydia? Could the height of screening be regulated? <br /> Three feet is standard? Instead of trees could shrubbery be added? (Yes) <br />What are the possible restaurants - give examples. Chairperson Keith Wietecki <br />stated no identity, but can control the look. Why are hotels both Marriott? Was <br />this an open process? <br />Steve Dubbs noted that two different hotels fit different niches. These are the <br />best hotels for the market. <br />John Simpson, asked why the hotel business is not being attracted to Roseville: <br />If hotels fail, does the city have the right to the site. <br />Norma Austly, Mt. Ridge Rd. Will the hotels do well in twenty years when the <br />hotels begin to decline in value? Why build two hotels at one time? <br />Nancy Simpson, 3083 Mt. Ridge Rd, asked what is comment period? Why did <br />not Ryan look at alternatives to move hotels/restaurants to south end of site? <br />Did Ryan prepare any alternative plans? <br />Deb Clark, 3070 Mildred Dr. What is green space percent? At what point is <br />there opportunity to provide imput on paths? Pathway plan is connected to <br />Centre Pointe? <br />Member John Rhody stated he sits on Pathway Committee, plan is nearly <br />complete. Roger Jenson stated that pathways in Centre Pointe will be <br />dedicated. <br />Jean Olson, Brenner Ave.,: The EAW mentions five curb cuts, if curb cuts are <br />not allowed, how many will be allowed, how/when are they approved? <br />Member John Rhody: The BRW report recommends limiting access to streets <br />now existing. <br />Ken Austly, 3087 Mt. Ridge RD., expressed concern about lighting in the area. <br />Dennis Welsch explained light standards. Is the Fairfield advertised as an <br />"inexpensive" hotel? <br />Raymond Schurers, 3058 N. Wilder. What is the function of the required pond? <br /> Why was the pathway disturbed? <br />Mary Reed, 2000 Brenner, asked what was plan in 1985.
