CITY OF ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Wednesday, June 11, 1997 <br />1.CALL TO ORDER: <br />Chairperson Keith Wietecki called the regular Planning Commission Meeting to <br />order at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Roseville, City Council Chambers. <br />2.ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTIONS: <br />Chairperson Wietecki introduced Planning Commission members and staff. <br />Present:E. Cunningham, K. Wietecki, J. Thein, D. Wilke, J. Rhody <br />Absent:K. Harms, J. Mulder <br />Staff Present: D. Welsch, K. Lee <br />Council Present: J.Goedeke <br />3.APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: <br />Motion: <br /> Member Wilke moved, seconded by Member Rhody, to approve the <br />minutes, as corrected, of the May 14, 1997 <br />Planning Commission meeting.Motion <br />carried6-0. <br />4.COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC: <br /> None. <br />5.CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> None. <br />6.PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />6(a)Planning File 2912: <br /> Request for a Conditional Use Permit by Laura <br />Marie Alwan, to allow a beauty parlor as a home occupation on property located <br />at 1120 Co. Rd. C2, Roseville. <br />City Planner, Kim L. Lee, summarized the staff report recommending approval <br />with seven (7) conditions. <br />Chairman Wietecki asked about the number of in-home beauty parlors in the <br />City. Asst. Community Development Director Jopke responded that he did not <br />know a specific number, but that there were at least three. Member Rhody asked <br />if any complaints had been received on those we were aware of; Jopke stated <br />none had been received. <br />Motion: <br /> Member Cunningham moved, seconded by Member Rhody, to <br />recommend approval of the Conditional Use Permit, with the following <br />1 <br />
