CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Wednesday, July 8, 1998 <br />1.CALL TO ORDER: <br />Chair Katie Harms called the regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Roseville City Council Chambers. <br />2.ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTIONS: <br />Present:John Rhody, Doug Wilke, Katie Harms, Janet Olson, <br />Edward Cunningham, Craig Klausing, James Mulder <br />Absent:None <br />Staff Present:Dennis Welsch, Kim Lee, Jay Kennedy <br />Council Present: Barb Mastel <br />3.APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: <br />Motion: <br /> Member Wilke moved, seconded by Member Rhody, to approve the <br />minutes of the June 10, 1998 Planning Commission meeting as <br />submitted. <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Abstain: 3 (Cunningham, Klausing, Mulder) <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />4.COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC: <br />Member Rhody explained the upcoming National Student Council program in <br />which 1600 students will visit Roseville. Housing is needed for the 5-7 days the <br />students will be here. Mark Hurley is the contact at Roseville High School. <br />5.CONSENT AGENDA <br />None. <br />6.PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />6a.Planning File 3043. North Heights Lutheran Church request for a three-year <br />extension of an interim use permit to allow the continued use of one <br />temporary building at 2701 Rice Street North. <br />1 <br />
