Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Klausing called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. in the City <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introduction <br /> <br />Present: Chair Craig Klausing, Peggy Egli, Janet Olson, Ed Cunningham, Doug Wilke, James Mulder, John Rhody <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Deb Bloom, Thomas Paschke <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Mulder moved, seconded by Member Wilke, to approve the minutes of the April 26, 2000 meeting of the <br />Planning Commission as submitted. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mulder, Cunningham, Wilke, Egli, Rhody <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Abstain: Klausing, Olson <br /> <br />Motion: Member Wilke moved, seconded by Member Egli, to approve the minutes of the May 10, 2000 meeting of the <br />Planning Commission with the following corrections: Line 31, page 5 (strike); line 41, page 6, Chair Klausing vote was nay <br />(final vote 4-3); line 6, page 8, Member Rhody explained the risk of tearing down a structure before obtaining a variance; <br />line 4, page 16, "fiscal impacts" (not adverse). <br /> <br />Ayes: Mulder, Olson, Cunningham, Klausing, Wilke, Egli, Rhody <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />4. Planning File 3213: Charles McCann, 685 Grandview Avenue West, is requesting a Variance from Section 703.04 of <br />the City Code to maintain the existing non-conforming driveway being reviewed as a part of the City's 2000 Pavement <br />Management Plan (PMP). <br /> <br />Chair Klausing opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to provide a verbal summary of the <br />project report dated June 14, 2000. Ms. McCann requested a 12-foot variance for the driveway entry from the corner of St. <br />Albans and Grandview Avenue. This is a pre-existing driveway that the applicant wishes to retain.
