Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Klausing called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. in the City <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introduction <br /> <br />Present: Chair Craig Klausing, Peggy Egli, Janet Olson, Ed Cunningham, Doug Wilke, James Mulder, John Rhody <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Deb Bloom, Thomas Paschke <br /> <br />Council present: None <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Klausing moved, seconded by Member Cunningham, to approve the minutes of the June 14, 2000 <br />meeting of the Planning Commission as submitted. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mulder, Cunningham, Wilke, Egli, Rhody, Klausing, Olson. <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Carried 7-0. <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />G. Public Hearings <br /> <br />Ga. Planning File 3235: Request by Carlson-LaVine, Inc. to vacate a utility and drainage easement on property located at <br />2965 Partridge Road. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to provide a verbal summary of the <br />project report dated July 12, 2000. <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke explained the vacation requested. He explained the progress on preparation of the site for an office. <br />The easement in question is no longer needed and no new utilities are needed. The property is surrounded by <br />easements. By vacating the easement the two parcels can be combined and developed as one developable parcel. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing asked for clarification of the utility easement purposes. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing asked how the Engineering Department determined the easement was not necessary.
