Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Wilke moved, seconded by Member Cunningham, to approve the minutes of the September 13, 2000 <br />meeting of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Ayes: Cunningham, Wilke, Rhody, Klausing, Olson. <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4. Sladky for variances from the Shoreland Ordinance to allow construction of <br />a 24 foot 11 inch by 11 foot 6 inch (279.68 square foot) four-season porch within the required 75-foot shoreland setback <br />located at 382 North McCarrons Blvd., Roseville. <br /> <br />Roberta Sladky, 382 North McCarrons Boulevard, is requesting variances from Section 1 016.22A 1, Section 1016.16A, <br />and Section 1 004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement of a 25 foot by 11.5 foot (307 sq. ft.) four- <br />season porch. The variances include: 1) A pre-existing non-conforming lot; 2) a pre-existing non-conforming house within <br />the required 75-foot shoreland setback; 3) and a pre-existing structure located within the required side yard setback. <br /> <br />The project report indicated the following findings/recommendations: <br /> <br />The Sladky home was constructed in 1930 as a cabin and includes a detached garage. The home is built on a flat portion <br />of the lot with a rising elevation to the northeast that is mostly held in place by a retaining wall. The lot also slops gently to <br />the lake. The house has been remodeled into a four-season home. Access to the property extends south along a private <br />
