Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Klausing called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:35 p.m. in the City <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introduction <br /> <br />Present: Chair Craig Klausing, Janet Olson, John Rhody, Ed Cunningham, Jim Mulder <br /> <br />Absent: Doug Wilke <br /> <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Deb Bloom, Cathy Bennett, Joel Jamnik, Thomas Paschke <br /> <br />Council present: Barb Mastel <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Olson moved, seconded by Member Mulder to approve the minutes of the November 8, 2000 meeting of <br />the Planning Commission with the following amendment: Page 2, line 13: correct spelling of word "buildings". <br /> <br />Ayes: Klausing, Mulder, Olson <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Abstain: Rhody, Cunningham <br /> <br />Carried: 3-0 <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda <br />6. Presentations and Other Actions <br /> <br />a. Planning File 3277: A request by Bret Thompson for sketch plan review of a redevelopment proposal for the vacant lot <br />adjacent to Lexington Avenue, Trunk Highway 36, and Lovell Lane (private) into five attached office condominiums. <br /> <br />Dennis Welsch summarized the application. Bret Thompson explained the concept of small office condominiums of 1,500 <br />to 2,000 square feet, normally occupied by a small attorney firm, architects, marketing, internet companies and <br />accountants. The building is a walkout (not a two story). <br /> <br />Member Mulder encouraged the east side elevation to be more interesting with changes in height, dimension, dormers, to <br />look more like town homes or row houses. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing agreed; needs attention to aesthetics. <br /> <br />Member Mulder asked for storage details (north side). <br />
