Call to Order <br /> <br />Chairman Troy Duncan called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. in <br />the City Council Chambers. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Brad Peper, Ed Cunningham, Mary H.Bakeman, Jim Mulder, Chair Troy Duncan <br /> <br />Absent: Mark Traynor, Jed Ipsen <br /> <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Thomas Paschke, Deb Bloom <br /> <br />Council present: Mayor John Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn swore in new Commission members Mary H.Bakeman and Bradley Peper. <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Cunningham moved, seconded by Chair Duncan, to approve the minutes of the May 1, 2002 <br />meeting of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Ayes: 3 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Abstain: 2 (Bakeman and Peper) <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda: (The Planning Commission may decide upon the issues listed in the Consent Agenda with one motion, <br />without further discussion.) <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />6. Hearings <br />a. a. Planning File 3392: Request by Family Academy for an Interim Use Permit to allow the temporary <br />placement of a 56-foot by 72-foot modular (portable) classroom adjacent (south) the existing school, 3000 <br />Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Chairman Duncan opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke provide a summary of the project <br />report dated June 5, 2002. <br /> <br />Family Academy Charter School has submitted an application for an Interim Use Permit to allow a temporary modular <br />classroom building (two units, total size 56- foot by 72-foot) on the south side of the school and adjacent to the front <br />parking lot along Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Family Academy has experienced steady student enrollment increases since 2000 and has in interest in offering <br />
