Call to Order <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Jim Mulder called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />in the City Council Chambers. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Traynor, Ipsen, Peper, Bakeman, Mulder <br />Absent: Duncan <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Thomas Paschke, Deb Bloom <br />Council present: None <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Traynor, to approve the minutes of the July 10, 2002 meeting of <br />the Planning Commission, with the following amendment: page 7, line 35: Peper voted Nay. <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda: (The Planning Commission may decide upon the issues listed in the Consent Agenda with one motion, <br />without further discussion.) <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />6. Hearings <br />a. Planning File 3359: Request by the City of Roseville to consider amended text in the B-6 Business Park <br />District (Section 1005.07) pertaining to pre-existing non-conforming uses. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Mulder opened the hearing and noted that affected property owners had requested a continuation <br />(through written correspondence from David Sellegrin dated August 7,2002). <br /> <br />Motion: Motion by Member Mulder, seconded by Member Peper, to continue the hearing to September 4, <br />2002 at the applicant's request. <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />b. Request by Joel Berntsen, 660 Heinel Drive, for a variance to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface <br />Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow construction of a master bedroom addition to the rear of the <br />existing home. <br />
