<br />7. Information, Reports & Other Business (Verbal Reports): <br />a. Planning File 3538: Amend the requirements for the Board of Adjustments and Appeals, Sections 1014 <br />(Admin. Zoning) and 108 (Admin. Public Hearings) of the City Code to designate a Variance Board of <br />Adjustment and Appeals. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested Community Development Director Dennis Welsch to present <br />verbal summary of the staff report dated December 3,2003. Welsch review comments received by the Commission <br />from the November 5, 2003 meeting and explained how staff and city attorney had added new wording to solve the <br />Commission concerns. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Stone, to approve the amendments to City Code <br />Title 10, Chapter 1014 (Board of Adjustment and Appeals) adding modifications and City Attorney review <br />concerning appeal process. <br /> <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />b. Planning File 3537: Amendment to Non-Conforming Use definition and requirements within Section <br />1002.02 (Definitions) and Section 1101 (Non-Conforming Uses). <br /> <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested Community Development Director Dennis Welsch to present <br />verbal summary of the staff report dated December 3,2003.
