Thomas Paschke said vehicles could be parked along Snelling Avenue (not <br />adjacent to docks and residential areas). Staff will follow up on the Har-Mar violations. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Stone, to recommend approval of the <br />amendments to City Code Title 10, Chapter 1006, and Sections 1006.01 through 1006.05, with change to <br />"Unit(s)". <br /> <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />e. Planning File 3529: Revisions to City Code Section 1007 (Industrial Uses). <br /> <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested Community Development Director Dennis Welsch to present <br />verbal summary of the staff report dated December 3,2003. Welsch review comments received by the Commission <br />from the November 5, 2003 meeting and explained how staff and city attorney had added new wording to solve the <br />Commission concerns. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Stone, to recommend approval with modifications <br />of the amendments to City Code Title 10, Chapter 1007, and Sections 1007.01 through 1007.04, with the <br />City Attorney to review, prior to submission to the Council in January. <br /> <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />1. Planning File 3533: Annual Revisions to Comprehensive Plan (Introduction) and presentation by HRA on <br />new Housing Plan for inclusion in City Comprehensive Plan (Bill Majerus and Cathy Bennett). <br /> <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested that the HRA Executive Director Cathy Bennett present a verbal <br />summary of the staff report dated December 3, 2003. <br /> <br />Cathy Bennett explained the HRA purpose and powers, and then the Summary of Goals within the HRA Housing <br />Plans. <br /> <br />In addition to the Housing Plan, the Planning Commission briefly reviewed other more minor revisions to the <br />Comprehensive Plan and decided to complete its annual revisions. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Traynor moved, seconded by Member Bakeman, to approve and recommend by <br />Resolution the reaffirmation to the Council changes made to the Comprehensive Plan during 2003, <br />including the HRA Housing Plan, adopt the outline for placement of the Plan and recommend that the <br />changes of 2003 be placed within the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />g. Planning File 3524: Request by Speedway SuperAmerica, 2172 Lexington Avenue, for a Conditional Use <br />Permit in accordance with Section 1 005.05C19 and 1013.01 (Conditional Use Permits) of the Roseville City <br />Code to allow off-sale liquor sales in a 1,600 sq. ft. portion of the convenience store with a separate entry. <br /> <br />The City Planner indicated that the information requested by the Commission has not been completed for review by <br />the staff and inclusion in the report for Commission consideration. He added that the applicant has requested in <br />writing an extension and that the request is tentatively scheduled for the January 7, 2004 Planning Commission <br />meeting. No action necessary. <br />
