City of Roseville Planning Commission Meeting Wednesday, January 7, 2004 1. Call to Order Chair Mulder called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers. 2. Roll Call Present: Bakeman, Peper, Stone, Ipsen, Traynor, Blank Absent: Mulder Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Thomas Paschke, Lonnie Brokke Council present: Council member Tom Kough. Other: Member Traynor Acting Chair 3. Approval of Minutes Motion: Member Traynor moved, second by Member Bakeman, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of December 3, 2003, with the following amendment to page 8, line 33: Member Traynor moved to approve of and recommend adoption of the 2003 revisions to the Comprehensive Plan by Resolution No. 01/07/04A as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 01/07/04A A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF AND RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF THE ANNUAL AMENDMENT AND REVISION FOR 2003 TO THE ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, REVISING THE TEXT AND LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS OF THE EXISTING PLAN ORIGINALLY ADOPTED IN 1994, AS AMENDED ANNUALLY WHEREAS, pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Acts of 1976 and 1996 the City of Roseville is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1994 adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was reviewed and approved by the Metropolitan council, and WHEREAS, in addition to project amendments, since the 1994 adoption the Planning Commission annually has held public hearings to update the Plan, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and published legal notice to affected communities and property owners within 350 feet of land use map change, with a public hearing held at the time of the requested amendment and an additional public hearing held on December 3, 2003, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Planning Commission of the City of Roseville hereby recommends approval and adoption of the 2003 amendments (along with appendices and adoptions by reference) to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan, subject to review and comments of the plan by the Metropolitan Council, The foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakeman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bakeman, Peper, Stone, Mulder, Ipsen, Traynor, Blank and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
