New Brighton has a plan for <br />all of Highway 8. Could the road name be changed? Could the residents be involved in the planning process? <br /> <br />7. Information, Reports and Other Business: <br /> <br />a. County Road B-2 Planning Process <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Deb Bloom presented proposed plans for pathways along County Road B-2 (5.25 miles, 8' <br />wide), which are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder asked if "B-2" will be rebuilt as a portion of the pathway plan. (No, the County has not programmed <br />"B-2" for at least ten years.) <br /> <br />Chair Mulder explained that County "c" will be constructed in 2005. State Aid funds will be used for local match. He <br />asked if Twin Lakes pathways are to be constructed with local funds (not clear yet). <br /> <br />Member Peper asked if local pathways could be adopted by businesses (Yes). <br /> <br />Chair Mulder asked what was the liability - is it the same as a sidewalk (Yes). <br /> <br />Motion: Member Stone moved, second by Member Peper, to recommend, as consistent with the <br />comprehensive plan and pathway plan, the construction of a regional trail along County Road B-2 to allow <br />
