Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Mulder called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m., in the City Hall <br />Council Chambers. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Traynor, Bakeman, Stone, Mulder, Ipsen <br />Absent: Blank <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Thomas Paschke <br />Council present: None <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, second by Member Stone, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br />March 3, 2004 as corrected. <br /> <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Abstain: 1 (Traynor) <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, second by Member Stone, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br />April 7, 2004. <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />5. Public Hearings: <br /> <br />a. Planning File 3563: Request by Martha and Anthony Trowbridge for an Interim Use Permit for Chesley <br />Truck, 1755 County Road C, to allow the limited sale of semi-trailer trucks. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to present the verbal summary of <br />the staff report dated May 5, 2004. <br /> <br />Anthony Trowbridge is the president of Chesley Truck, which is a heavy truck repair facility and a dealer licensed to <br />wholesale motor vehicles. However, a small number of customers have expressed interest in purchasing vehicles <br />on site, which is not permissible within the Light Industrial Zoning District. <br /> <br />Mr. Trowbridge has indicated that there would be no vehicle display (vehicles will be kept in their current location <br />behind the building); that no additional signage is necessary; that hours would be limited from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 <br />p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday; and that the Interim Use Permit be <br />administratively reviewed annually with no renewal beyond 3 years. <br />
