<br />City of Roseville <br /> <br />Planning Commission Special Meeting <br /> <br />Wednesday, October 14,2004 <br /> <br />1. Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Jim Mulder called the special meeting of October 14, 2004 of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at <br />6:30 p.m., in the Roseville City Hall Council Chambers. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Bakeman, Doherty, Boerigter, Mulder, Pust <br />Absent: Traynor, Ipsen <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Thomas Paschke, Duane Schwartz <br />Council present: None. <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />5. Public Hearings: <br /> <br />a. Planning File 3599: Request by Sue and Jay Rollinger and Anne and Ray Elias-Cartwright to vacate a <br />portion of a roadway easement adjacent to 403 Wagner Street and 1823 Western Avenue. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing. <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke reported that the Parks staff was interested in a pathway on the easement and was interested in <br />comments from the Planning Commission. The Parks Commission will review this on November 4, 2004 and the <br />project will return to the Planning Commission on the December 1st agenda. <br /> <br />Member Bakeman asked about the 60 day rule. Mr. Paschke explained the rule does not apply to right of way <br />vacations. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Doherty, to continue this request, for vacation of a <br />portion of a roadway easement to the Planning Commission meeting of December 1, 2004. <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />b. Planning File 3602: Request by United Properties for Preliminary and Final Plat and Affirmation of Final <br />Planned Unit Development for Outlot B, known as Applewood Pointe Phase II, to allow the construction of <br />row town homes (3 complexes) totaling 17 units. <br />
