Multi-Family Housing Study - Conclusions, Findings, Policies, Actions Planning <br /> <br />The Commission discussed the report and generally found it consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The <br />Commission will consider action on this at the December meeting, regarding Comprehensive Plan consistency and <br />placement as a supplement to the Plan's Section 8 (Housing). <br /> <br />b. Topics Discussion (Historical List) - November & December <br /> <br />Chair Mulder asked staff to check the Adult Day Care facility approved on Rice Street; it is now a furniture store. Is <br />there a process to review Conditional Use Permits after the fact? How long is a non-used permit good for? A <br />general discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Member Doherty asked is there a Planning Commission comparison or training? Are there possible Planning <br />Commission/HRA meetings or tours. Could the Commissions meet in a more orderly process effective sequence of <br />meetings to expedite decision making? <br /> <br />Topics tentatively (subject to City Council approval) chosen for study in 2005 included: <br /> <br />1. Rice Street Corridor <br /> <br />2. Traffic congestion <br /> <br />3. Planning Commission education and collaborating with other City and (other city) Commissions <br /> <br />4. Defining the role of Roseville as a first ring suburb within the Metro Area. <br /> <br />5. Others to be discussed further at a future meeting. <br /> <br />7.
