Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Jim Mulder called the March 2, 2005 regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at 6:30 <br />p.m., in the Roseville City Hall Council Chambers. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call <br /> <br />Present: Bakeman, Bakeman, Boerigter, Pust, Traynor, Mulder <br />Absent: Ipsen, Doherty <br />Staff present: Dennis Welsch, Thomas Paschke <br />Council present: None. <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Traynor, to approve minutes of February 2, 2005 <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Abstain: None <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public: <br /> <br />a. From the Public: Public Comment on items not on the agenda: None <br /> <br />b. From Commissions: <br /> <br />Member Traynor read a Resolution of Appreciation to Chair James A. Mulder #03-02-05-(1) which was approved by <br />unanimous consensus. <br /> <br />c. From Variance Board: <br /> <br />By consensus, Tammy Pust was nominated as a member of the Variance Board and Members Doherty and Traynor were <br />nominated as alternates <br /> <br />5. Information & Reports: <br /> <br />a. Member Boerigter - report on Variance Board notification process. <br /> <br />Member Boerigter explained the notification process. He has examined the need for a second notice which is an <br />appeal notice. He recommended only one notice with all meeting and appeal process. It would save time and cost. <br />An ordinance amending the Code would be needed. Attendance at Variance Board meetings has been limited. Staff <br />can still provide details to someone interested in an appeal. No appeals have been written.
