<br />City of Roseville - Planning Commission Agenda for March 2,2005 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Page 2 of2 <br /> <br />Chair Mulder asked the staff to investigate electronic posting of hearings and notices. <br /> <br />b. City Planner - Photo Assignment. <br /> <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke provided an overview of the Planning Commission shaping/refining the Codes and <br />Ordinances they enforce, a unique opportunity exists for Members to complete a photo challenge/assignment. <br />Commissioners will embark on a 30 day photo expedition. <br /> <br />Assignment One: Within 30 days and during your normal course of activities or travels (or not) snap 24 total photos <br />of those signs you like and dislike. Return film or camera to City Planner for developing. <br /> <br />Assignment Two: Collectively (work session) downsize to the top 30 and discuss what that photo means to <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />A general discussion ensued. The photos will be turned in by the April regular meeting. (April 6th). <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />c. Progress on 2005 Work Plan - reports from representatives <br /> <br />(1) Member Pust reported on signage and the ordinance. <br />(2) Thomas Paschke distributed a report on lot coverage and variances and variances 58% were more than 30%, <br />but less than 35% lot coverage. A general discussion ensued. Member Boerigter asked what other communities <br />have for requirements. <br /> <br />Chair Mulder thanked the staff for years of support during his eight years as a Planning Commission <br />member. He thanked the Planning Commission members for their camaraderie and support. He encouraged <br />others to join. He said "it's about the land". <br /> <br />6.
