Kysylyczyn commented that Staff and the Chairperson would work together on <br />establishing the monthly agendas. <br /> <br /> <br />8.Other <br />? <br /> <br />By-laws- Staff will bring a draft to the next meeting integrating other City commission by- <br />laws. <br />? <br /> <br />Packets- to be distributed one week in advance <br />? <br /> <br />Public Hearing procedures- using the proper format to recognize citizens that come to the <br />meetings. <br />? <br /> <br />Open meeting law (state statute 13D)- If more than 2 commission members get together and <br />discuss business it must be advertised as a public meeting, otherwise it is a violation of the <br />open meeting law. Likewise it is not appropriate to discuss business through email between <br />more than 2 members. <br />? <br /> <br />Meeting length- It was agreed that the meetings should last from 7-9pm. <br />? <br /> <br />Public Information/ Contact information- Commission contact information will be available <br />to the public, please let staff know what is the best phone number and email to have available. <br />? <br /> <br />Email was discussed as a efficient communication tool. <br /> <br /> <br />9.Adjournment- Meeting adjourned at 7:40pm <br /> <br />th <br />Next meeting at 7pm September 26. <br /> <br />2 <br />
