Duane explained that <br />the mayor e-mailed articles he thought were of interest. <br /> <br /> Schwartz commented on the County Road C project that the Council has <br />directed us to look into burying the power lines and has asked Xcel to <br />replace the lattice poles with new more attractive poles, the cost of which <br />would be assessed to the users. Willenbring asked if they factor in the <br />cost of less maintenance. Schwartz responded that Xcel isn’t a big <br />champion of burying. They assess the difference of the city moving <br />versus burying, and we’d have to inquire about maintenance cost <br />difference. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Approval of August Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> Member Anderson moved to approve the minutes of August 22, 2002, of <br />the Public Works/Transportation Commission. Member Rossini <br />seconded. <br /> <br /> Ayes: 5 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />
