Public Comments <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />3. Approval of October meeting minutes <br /> <br />Member Anderson moved to approve the minutes of October 24,2002, of <br />the Public Works/Transportation Commission. Member Rossini <br />seconded. <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />4. Communication Items <br /> <br />A) Leaf Program - The program is 99% complete right now. Staff <br />would have finished on time if the leaves had fallen earlier. Return <br />trips have been made to clean up additional leaves. Participation <br />was down slightly this year, approximately 2100 users. A hearing is <br />scheduled for December to discuss the future of the leaf program, <br />and costs should be tallied at that point for the 2002 program. <br />B) Referendum Update - The referendum passed, and staff is looking <br />forward to getting started on the project. The City Council has <br />authorized contracting with Ankeny Kell, the original architect, to <br />develop working plans. <br /> <br />Page I of3 <br />
