We have an
annual street reconstruction program. Each year a portion
of our streets are reconstructed. These projects include
water, sewer and stormwater repairs if necessary. The
projects are financed by 25% special assessments to
benefiting properties & 75% City-wide tax levy, utility
repairs with transfers from the respective utility fund. We
have a Stormwater Fund financed with charges on our
utility bills to each qualifying property in the City."

Golden Valley
Don Finance Dir

No Response

No Response

"We have a Community Reinvestment Fund. But do not
levy any taxes to support it. Funding came from excess
assessment funds."

Brooklyn Center
Doug Sell, Finance Dir

"Currently, the City does not make use of this statute.
Street and infrastructure replacement is funded through a
combination of transfers from the General Fund and Utility
Enterprise Funds and specially assessing benefitted
owners."

New Hope
Daryl Sulander, Finance Dir

No Response
