<br /> <br />The City shall install streetlights at the following locations when petitioned by property <br />owners. At a minimum the petition must include all properties facing or bordering the <br />requested street light. <br />A. Mid-block on alleys <br />B. Mid-block on street blocks 1000 feet or greater in length <br />C. End of cul-de-sac streets less than 300 feet in length <br /> <br />CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY (Jay Hartman) <br />Currently working on their policy. They plan to address decorative lighting to their <br />policy. The last MSA road they reconstructed included decorative lighting at no charge <br />to the property owners. Another MSA neighborhood that had been reconstructed in past <br />complained so they will give them lighting with 50% of cost to be assessed to property <br />owners. In the future they will provide decorative lighting to all MSA reconstructs at no <br />assessment. There is no current option for overhead or decorative lighting for any other <br />roadway types. <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />City must receive petition requesting street light by 50% of affected properties (within <br />200' of light). No lights shall be closer than 250' and at least 400' unless other criteria <br />(intersections, sharp curves, dead ends, vandalized areas or mid-block pedestrian <br />crosswalks). All new street light installations for residential areas shall be 100 watt high <br />pressure sodium at a 30' mounting height. Street lights shall be included in all public <br />improvement projects according to above criteria. <br /> <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Recent street light projects have been assessed and paid off over 5 years. <br /> <br />CITY OF WHITE BEAR LAKE <br />City has established street light styles to use for different road types (dependant on ADT). <br />A petition is received from majority of abutting property owners. Lights are placed only <br />at intersections, end of cul-de-sacs, and on abnormally long blocks (every 600'). <br />
