Consideration will be given only when such petition, and <br />thereafter review by the City, danonstrates a specific need warranted, due <br />to specific safety and/or public welfare hazards. <br /> <br />A petition, to the City, requesting a light shall be by 50% of the abut- <br />ting property owners affected, to locate a light nea:c their p:coperty. A <br />p:coperty owner shall be deaned affected if the property is wi thin 200 feet <br />in any street direction fran the proposed location, on either side of the <br />street. . <br /> <br />A street light request may be delayed...due to lack of funds in a given <br />budget year. Council and/or the Ci ty Manager must approve all light <br />requests prior to placement am after receiving the City Engineer's <br />recoomendation on such. <br /> <br />u:x::ATIONS CONSIDERED <br /> <br />A street light may be installed at every street intersection open for <br />traffic in the Ci ty, except in cases where the City Engineer dete:cmines <br />adjacent street lighting is adequate to cover an intersection or the low <br />volumes of vehicles and/or pedestrians does not warrant the installaticn. <br /> <br />,,' <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-._- -'-'- .,------>-- <br />
