'" TYPES OF LIGHTING INSTALLED Additional lights in CUl:rently lit al:eas will be of compal:able size and type. The City may choose to install a more efficient and/Ol: effective type of luminail:e. All newly developed al:eas 01: lal:ge existing unlit al:eas whel:e undel:ground widng is present shall be serviced by buried cable and lit with 100 watt high pressure sodium in the City's custom residential fixture. Ornamental street lights will be considel:ed on a case by case basis and shall meet, as a minimum, the location, wattage standards and design standard contained hel:ein. Arterial and collector roads shall be illuminated as dil:ected by the City Engineer. Residential street lighting shall be pel: the attached standards. The City standards may be updated and/or changed to match City needs. PAnIENT FOR STREET LIGHTS The City of Shoreview pays for street lighting power cost from the City's general fund. At this time the City doesn't assess power cost. In private areas, the Association or owners pay for installation and power cost. .
