City of Roseville Ethics Policy <br /> <br />Traininl!: <br /> <br />Each member shall be encouraged to attend at least one of the statewide planning <br />conferences or training sessions during each appointment term. The City through the <br />Community Development Department or other funds shall fund such education. <br /> <br />Graceful Exit Policy Proposal <br /> <br />Valued Committee/Team Membership. <br /> <br />Purpose: Provide an opportunity for time constrained committee or team members who <br />no longer have time to attend the meetings to reduce their time commitment and still provide <br />input to the committee. <br /> <br />At any time after the first three meetings with a committee or team, a member may elect <br />to reduce participation to a non-voting consulting and commentary role. Since the member's <br />contribution to the organization is valued, this non-voting membership will continue for up to <br />one year during which time the member will continue to receive all meeting agendas and reports. <br />Although not attending the meetings regularly, the member will be encouraged to communicate <br />infom1ation and comment to the committee.
