. I'm looking for the updated contact at Abitibi, which has a newsprint mill in
Kenora, Ontario
* Tom Troskey, Rock-Tenn, St. paul, (651) 641-4525, ttroskey@rocktenn.com

LDI and Rock-Tenn don't really have any complaints about single-stream.
CityForest would like a reliable supply of office paper and Junk mail. Bowater
and Abitibi are the newsprint mills, which are the mills most likely to
question quality from single-stream, although neither has said anything to me.
weyerhaeuser is not fond of single-stream, generally speaking.

I'd suggest you try the phone with all of these folks rather than e-mail when
making first contact.

enjoyed today's ARM workshop in columbia Heights. However, I feel
compelled to add to David Paxson's presentation on population and
environment. several remarks he' made regarding "humane and immediate steps
to stop population -growth", immigration, and the one-child policy in china
demonstrate that he is not in line with the most advanced thinking about
international development, environment, and population. -

The United Nations has a very well thought out populat, ion program,
would entourage you to review http://www.unfpa.org/goals/index.htm
should be noted that international population programs are in fact

and I
. It
WORKING.

Mr. Paxson criticized the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, which makes
micro-loans to women. Instead of the 25,000 people mentioned by Mr. paxson,
the Grameen Bank has made loans to TWO MILLION WOMEN. Find out about one of
the most wildly successful anti-poverty programs in history at
http://www.grameen-info.org/ .

Another balanced view of population policy is at the worldwatch Institute.
Find out more at http://www.worldwatch.org/topics/people/population/ . Note
a key conclusion on this page: "Many of the policies that promote
development, including.q~allty education for girls, economic opportunity.for
women, and strong nutrltlon and health programs, also.tend to help a natlon
stabilize its population."

Thank you for your consideration.
