<br />Roseville Public Works and Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: January 25, 2005 <br /> <br />Item No: 5 <br /> <br />Item Description: Updates/Results of Transportation Discussion with City Council on 01/24/05 <br /> <br />The City Council work session on Monday, January 24th, focuses on transportation issues. Frank <br />Palko, the NOlih Metro Area Manager for MnfDOT, will update the Council on projects in our <br />area, as well as funding concerns and other issues. Ken Haider and Dan Soler from Ramsey <br />County and Deb Bloom and Duane Schwartz from the City will talk on the same topics from <br />county and city perspectives. Attached is the Council background and outline for the Monday <br />meeting. We will share with you what we hear from the other agencies at the Council meeting <br />and talk about some ideas we have for a City-wide traffic model to assist us in planning for <br />future road improvements, as well as land use decisions. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />None <br />
