Introductions/Roll Call <br /> <br />Commission members present: Mihai Marasteanu, Todd Anderson, Joe <br />Rossini, Ernest Willenbring and Doug Wilke. <br /> <br />Commission members absent: None <br /> <br />Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director <br /> <br />Others present: None <br /> <br />2. Public Comments <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />3. Approval of December meeting minutes <br /> <br />Member Anderson moved to approve the minutes of December 16,2004, <br />of the Public Works/Transportation Commission. Member Rossini <br />seconded. <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />4. Communications Items <br /> <br />Duane Schwartz presented a letter from Mn/DOT to the City talking about <br />the delay of the Hwy 280 reconstruction project. The delay is due to <br />funding problems and right-of-way costs. They will reapply for funding <br />for the 2009-2010 construction season. Member Willenbring asked if the <br />right-of-way costs would continue to go up during the years waiting for <br />the project to begin. Schwartz said they probably would, but Mn/DOT <br />will counter that by requesting more money for the project. Member <br /> <br />Page10f3 <br />
