Introductions/Roll Call

Commission members present: Todd Anderson, Joe Rossini, Ernest
Willenbring and Doug Wilke.

Commission members absent: Mihai Marasteanu

Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director

Others present: Dave Simons, Metro Wastewater Treatment Facility

2. Public Comments

Greg Schroeder, City Council Member, spoke to promote pedestrian
safety. He's working towards the City placing in-street pedestrian
markers in crosswalks at strategic locations. Each sign would cost about
$250-$400. The signs would be placed only for the season. He's asking
the Commission to support the idea and help identifY a budget.

Member Willenbring asked how many signs might be needed. Schroeder
said he wasn't sure, but the number would probably be between 15 and 25.
The locations would have to be determined.

Member Willenbring said there would have to be a purchase budget, as
well as a maintenance budget.

Page I of 5
