<br />Chairman Meetinl!: Statements <br /> <br />City of Roseville <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CONDUCT OF A PUBLIC MEETING <br />(Updated 010/06/04) <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting to Order. 6:30pm <br /> <br />Chair states. . .. "The , _, 200X regular meeting of the City <br />of Roseville Planning Commission is hereby called to order." <br /> <br />Chair explains that.. . <br /> <br />"The Planning Commission is composed of seven voluntary citizen <br />members appointed by the City Council and Mayor. The Commission <br />meets regularly on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at <br />6:30pm in the City Hall, Council Chambers. The Commission's role is <br />to advise the City Council on land use items such as amendments to <br />the city comprehensive plan, rezoning requests, conditional use <br />permits, variance requests and subdivisions. The Commission is <br />responsible for holding nearly all land use public hearings. <br /> <br />The Commission values meeting conduct which is polite and <br />respectful of individuals and their thoughts." <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introductions: Chair asks Com. Dev. Director/Clerk to <br />call the roll. As the members names are announced, they state "here". <br /> <br />Chair introduces: I) elected officials and, 2) staff in attendance. <br /> <br />3. Minutes of last meetinl!:(s). Accept a motion to approve with any <br />changes noted ... <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public: Chair asks if there are <br />communications from the public which are not on the agenda. <br /> <br />5. Consent Al!:enda: Are there any items that need only a motion (no <br />discussion needed)? Accept a motion to ... or acknowledge that there <br />are no consent items. <br /> <br />1 <br />
