<br />City of Roseville - Planning Commission Minutes for December 7, 2005http://www.ci.roseville.mn.us/council/planning/minutes/2005/pm05120... <br />C ITY C OUNCIL <br />City of Roseville <br />Planning Commission Meeting <br />Wednesday, December 7, 2005 <br />1.Call to Order <br />Vice Chair Mary Bakeman called the December 7, 2005 regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning <br />Commission to order at 6:00 PM, in the Roseville City Hall Council Chambers. <br />2.Welcome, Roll Call <br />Present: Bakeman, Doherty, Pust, White, Wozniak, Traynor, Boerigter <br />Absent: <br />Staff present: Thomas Paschke, Dennis Welsch, Deb Bloom <br />3.Approval of Minutes <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, seconded by Member Doherty, to approve minutes of November 2, <br />2005 with typographic corrections. <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Abstain: 0 <br />Motion carried: 7-0 <br />4.Communications from the Public <br />a.From the Public: none <br />b.From Commission: none <br />c.Resolution of Appreciation to Member Tammy Pust for Service to Commission and Community: <br />Chair Traynor read into the record and the Commission adopted by consensus, Resolution #PC <br />12-07-05a, congratulating Member Tammy Pust on her new Council position and thanking her for her <br />time and work with the Commission. <br />Member Pust thanks the Commission and staff and said she hoped to continue to work with the <br />Commission in her new position. <br />5.Public Hearings <br />a.Planning File 3680: Kimco Realty Corporation request to rezone the former Franks Nursery & <br />Crafts site from B-1, Limited Business District to B-2, Retail Business District <br />Chair Traynor opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to provide a verbal <br />summary of the project report dated December 7, 2005. Mr. Paschke explained that Kimco Realty <br />Corporation seeks approval of a REZONING (from B-1, Limited Business District to B-2, Retail Business <br />District) to allow the redevelopment of the former Franks Nursery & Crafts property into a retail and <br />office development. The current proposal calls for the remodeling of the existing 18,480 sq. ft Franks <br />1 of 43/13/2006 8:50 AM <br /> <br />
