<br />City of Roseville - Variance Board Minutes for August 4, 2004Page 1 of 2 <br />C C <br />ITYOUNCIL <br />City of Roseville <br />Variance Board Meeting <br />Wednesday, August 4, 2004 <br />1.Call to Order <br />Acting Chair Bakeman called the meeting of the City of Roseville Variance Board to order at 5:30 PM, in <br />the City Hall Council Chambers. <br />2.Roll Call <br />Present: Bakeman, Boerigter, Doherty (late) <br />Absent: None <br />Staff present: Thomas Paschke, Dennis Welsch <br />3.Nomination of Chair <br />Remi Stone was the previous Chair. She has moved. <br />Motion: Member Boerigter moved, second by Member Doherty, to nominate Member Bakeman to <br />serve out the remaining term during the 2004 calendar year. <br />By consensus, Dan Boerigter was approved as Vice-Chair. <br />4.Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes of April 7, 2004 were approved. <br />5.Public Hearings <br />a.Planning File 3587: Request by the Tile Shop, 1803 County Road C, for a Variance to alleviate <br />the principal structure setback violation created by the County Road C reconstruction <br />project. <br />Chair Bakeman opened the hearing and requested Thomas Paschke provide a verbal summary of <br />the request. <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke advised that The Tile Shop (Fairview/Roseville LLC) seeks approval <br />of a 4 foot Variance to Section 1005.01 (Corner Side Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to <br />alleviate the principal structure setback violation created by the County Road C reconstruction <br />project. <br />Ramsey County recently purchased permanent roadway easements necessary for the <br />reconstruction of County Road C.
