<br />City of Roseville - Variance Board Minutes for November 3, 2004Page 1 of 3 <br />C C <br />ITYOUNCIL <br />City of Roseville <br />Variance Board Meeting <br />Wednesday, November 3, 2004 <br />1.Call to Order <br />Chair Bakeman called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Variance Board to order at 5:00 PM, in <br />the Roseville City Hall Council Chambers. <br />2.Roll Call <br />Present: Bakeman, Boerigter, Mulder, Doherty (as alternate) <br />Absent: None <br />Staff present: Thomas Paschke, Dennis Welsch <br />3.Approval of Minutes <br />Motion by Member Mulder, seconded by Member Boerigter, to approve the minutes of August 4, <br />2004 and September 1, 2004 as submitted. <br />Ayes: 3 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried: 3-0 <br />4.Communications from the Public <br />None <br />5.Public Hearings <br />a.Planning File 3605: Request by Cliff Gustafson, 1666 Oakcrest Avenue, for a 731 square foot <br />Variance to Section 1004.01A5 (Overall Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the <br />construction of a 380 square foot addition on to an existing detached accessory building. <br />Chair Bakeman opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke provide a verbal <br />summary of the project report dated November 3, 2004. <br />Thomas Paschke advised that Mr. Gustafson has submitted a proposal to construct a 19 foot by 22 <br />foot (380 sq. ft.) addition on to his existing 20 foot by 22 foot (440 sq. ft.) detached accessory <br />structure (garage). Section 1004.01A5 (Overall Area) limits residential properties to a maximum <br />impervious coverage of 30% of the lot size. The proposal by Mr. Gustafson seeks an increase in the <br />parcel’s overall impervious coverage from an allowable 3,488 sq. ft. to a proposed 4,219 sq. ft. <br />The Staff recommended approval of a 731 sq. ft.
