Member Shiely nominated Member Willenbring for vice-chairman. There <br />were no other nominations. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> <br />8.Commission Job Description <br /> <br /> Member Willenbring moved to approve the job description as presented. <br />Member Fischer seconded. <br /> <br /> Ayes: 4 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried <br /> <br /> Member Shiely suggested they invite Public Works Commission members <br />from other communities to a joint meeting to share information. Chair <br />Wilke said that city employees have contact with employees from other <br />cities and share information so he didn’t see the need for commission <br />members to interact that way. Schwartz said the chairs of all Roseville <br />commissions get together periodically to discuss issues and that Public <br />Works Commissions are rare so there wouldn’t be many to draw from. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Communication Items <br /> <br />- Letter to Council <br /> <br /> The letter Doug Wilke sent to the City Council regarding recycling was <br />discussed. Member Shiely said he talked to Councilmembers and not <br />everyone received the letter. He said in the future he thought registered <br />letters should be sent. Member Willenbring said he didn’t think that was <br />necessary. <br /> <br /> - Speed Limit Change (35) <br /> <br /> Schwartz spoke on the speed limit change for Highway 35W. It will <br />increase from 55 to 60 mph. <br /> <br /> - County Road C Project <br /> <br /> Chair Wilke updated the Commission on the County Road C Project. <br /> <br /> - New Commission Appointment <br /> <br /> Schwartz spoke on the new appointment to the Commission to fill Mihai <br />Marasteanu’s vacant seat. Randy Neprash was appointed. <br /> <br /> - Member Shiely <br /> <br /> Chair Wilke said that Member Shiely had requested time for some agenda <br />items.
