7.Communication Items

Member Shiely wanted to discuss some items.

“Letter to Bob” – Member Shiely again brought up the letter to a past
commission member’s boss thanking the boss for the member’s
participation on the Commission. Member Willenbring said that they’ve
already discussed this matter two or three times and have always voted to
not send any letters from the Commission. Member Willenbring went on
to say he didn’t understand why Member Shiely kept bringing this up.
Member Shiely said he wouldn’t bring it up again.

Ombudsman – Member Shiely wanted to discuss whether the City should
have an ombudsman. Chair Wilke said he should talk to the City Council.
Member Fischer said that this doesn’t seem to be the place to discuss this
matter and that Member Shiely should go to the City Council. Member
Fischer asked Member Shiely if in the future he could present his
information in a more concise way. Member Willenbring agreed and said
that Member Shiely submitted way too much information in a very
confusing way.

Opticom – Member Shiely said there are some intersections in Roseville
that don’t have opticom and that this is a hazard. Chair Wilke said there
are only a couple at this point, one of which is being reconstructed this
summer.

8.February Agenda

2007 PWETC Work Plan

9.Adjournment
