Member Schiely moved to recommend to Council to adopt the new
wording in the right-of-way ordinance pending approval by City Attorney.
Member Neprash seconded.

Ayes: 5
Nays: 0
Motion carried.

6.2006 PWETC Work Plan

Duane Schwartz handed out a planning worksheet and asked for
suggestions on meeting topics.

Member Fischer said that they’ve talked a lot about recycling over the last
year and was the city planning to do an assessment of the new recycling
program to find out how it’s working. Other members agreed that it
would be a good topic for later in the year.

Member Shiely had submitted a list of topics he wanted to suggest for the
work plan. Member Willenbring asked if they could go through the topics
in another meeting since there were so many of them. Member Shiely said
yes. Chair Wilke suggested they discuss the topics at the February
meeting. Member Shiely objected because he thought they needed to act
on them before that. Member Shiely said there were at least 10 public
hearings that needed to be held. Chair Wilke asked what the public
hearings were for. Member Shiely said one would be for snow bird
tickets. Chair Shiely said that item has already been discussed in a
Commission meeting, and the Commission decided to leave the ordinance
as it was.

Member Neprash asked for Member Shiely’s items to be presented in a
clearer format so they can understand what they are and then can add their
own items.

Member Neprash moved to discuss the agenda topic suggestions at the
February meeting. Member Fischer seconded. Motion failed for lack of a
vote.

Member Fischer said he thought that prior to the February meeting each
member should make a list of topics they wanted to discuss. Member
Willenbring asked Member Shiely to clarify his topics a little more
because it was confusing. Chair Wilke said each member should have
their topics to Mr. Schwartz within two weeks.

Member Neprash asked if the Twin Lake Development was a possible
topic for discussion. Mr. Schwartz said the Commission will be made
aware of the next stages of the project.
