Summary

Overview

The objective of the Project Team's analysis was to compare the quantities of materials collected
for the various recyclable materials collection methods. The City currently uses the dual stream
(paper and containers) curbside collection method with 18-gallon bins collected every other
week. In the pilot study, the Friday route was considered a control route in which the collection
method did not change. The recyclable materials collection method for each of the pilot routes
is shown below in Table I.

01-00253-10101-0101 ! 070001113500 P:\13500 Ramsey Co. 2003\RTA\Roseville\FA\B1544 - Final Data Analysis
1380 Corporate Center Curve, Suite 305, St. Paul,:MN 55121, Phone (651) 994-8415, Fax (651) 994~8396
