Select the material categories; <br />. Defme the recyclable materials sort protocol; <br />. Conduct the sampling and sorting events; <br />. Compile the collected data; and <br />. Develop the results using a statistical model. <br /> <br />Material Categories <br /> <br />The Project Team and City staff discussed and agreed upon the composition analysis categories <br />for the recyclable materials sorts. During the sorting events, each sample of recyclable materials <br />was sorted into thirteen categories listed below in Table 2.
