<br />Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: March 28, 2006 <br /> <br />Item No: 9 <br /> <br />Item Description: Traffic Safety Committee Ordinance <br /> <br />The City Attorney advised staff earlier this year that a practice adopted by resolution creating a <br />Traffic Safety Committee to determine the need for and implement traffic signage needs be <br />established in city code. The Council concurred with this recommendation at a January meeting. <br />Staffretumed to the Council with an ordinance in February codifying the intent of the resolution. <br />After discussion, they referred this matter to the Commission for further study. See the attached <br />information provided to the Council and the minutes of the Council meeting related to their <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Direction to staff for further study or recommendation to the Council <br />
