<br />Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />Date: March 28, 2006 <br /> <br />Item No: 8 <br /> <br />Item Description: County Road C Phase II Streetscape Process Update <br /> <br />The County Road C reconstruction project was split into two phases. The first phase, between <br />Long Lake Road and Snelling Avenue, started construction in 2005 and is nearly finished. The <br />second phase of construction between Snelling Avenue and Oxford Street is proposed to start <br />this summer. <br /> <br />On March 13, 2005, the City Council received the feasibility report for the Phase II <br />reconstruction of County Road C and ordered the public hearing. A public hearing will be held <br />on 3/27/06. The two projects described in the feasibility report are closely related, the first is the <br />proposed Ramsey County roadway reconstruction project and the second is the work described <br />as the Roseville's Streetscape project, both project limits are from Snelling Avenue to Oxford <br />Street. <br /> <br />We have held a number of information meetings with property owners regarding these projects <br />over the last 5 years and would like to discuss with the commission the process for the <br />development of the County Road C Streetscape plans. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Discuss workplan with Commission <br />
