Currently, there are
no flood zones in Roseville, but that could change with this new mapping
being done. Chair Wilke asked if residents could be notified of their new
status. Duane Schwartz said that when the mapping is completed,
residents would definitely be notified; if not by FEMA, then by the city.
The map will be available at the end of September.

Deb Bloom updated the Commission on several other projects going on in
Roseville.

Duane Schwartz updated the Commission on City Council issues.

5. Erosion Control Ordinance (Revised)

Deb Bloom presented the revised ordinance for the Commission's review
and went over the latest changes.

Member Willenbring questioned the item under enforcement and whether
it was fair as stated that if erosion control specifications aren't met, all
permits would be pulled for all jobs being done by the contractor within
the City of Roseville. Bloom said the city attorney had advised that it was
a tool in the toolbox of enforcement, and it's just an option that could be
used. Member Neprash said it might be the only way to get the
contractor's attention if they were virtually done with the job and just
needed to do some cleanup.

Member Neprash said it might be a good idea to have stronger language
regarding removal of temporary erosion control devices stating that the
contractor is still responsible even after the city has inspected and signed
off on the site.

Duane Schwartz said the next step in this ordinance process would be to
introduce it to the City Council.

Member Neprash moved to send the ordinance to the City Council.
Member Fischer seconded.

Ayes: 4
Nays: 0
Motion carried

Page 2 of5
