<br />Erosion and Sediment Control Plan. A plan ofBMPs or equivalent measures designed <br />to control runoff and erosion and to retain or control sediment on land during the period <br />ofland disturbance in accordance with the standards set forth in these Rules. <br /> <br />Excavation. The artificial displacement or removal of soil or other material. <br /> <br />Fill. The deposit of soil of other earth materials by artificial means. <br /> <br />Floodplain. The area adjoining a watercourse or natural or man-made water body, <br />including the area around lakes, marshes and lowlands, that is inundated during a 100- <br />year flood. <br /> <br />Freeboard. The vertical distance between the regulatory high water elevation calculated <br />by hydrologic modeling and the regulatory elevation on a structure or roadway. <br /> <br />Illegal Connections. Any eyance, whether on the surface or subsurface, <br />which allows an illegal enter the storm drain system including but not <br />limited to any conveyanc allow any non- storm water discharge including <br />sewage, process wastewater, ash water to enter the storm drain system and any <br />connections to the storm drain system from indoor drains and sinks, regardless of whether <br />said drain or connection had been previously allowed, permitted, or approved by an <br />District. <br /> <br /> <br />usiness purposes, which includes <br />creation, office, office storage, <br />. cidental to a residential use <br /> <br />Habitable . Any direct or indirect non-storm water discharge to the storm drain <br />system, except as exempted in Paragraph 5 of Rule G in these Rules. <br /> <br />Impervious Surface. A surface compacted or covered with material so as to be highly <br />resistant to infiltration by runoff. Impervious surface shall include roads, driveways and <br />parking areas, whether or not paved, sidewalks greater than three feet wide, patios, tennis <br />and basketball courts, swimming pools, covered decks and other structures. Open decks <br />with joints at least Y. inch wide, areas beneath overhangs less than two feet wide, and <br />sidewalks three feet or less wide shall not constitute impervious surfaces under these <br />Rules. <br /> <br />06/12/2006 CRWD DRAFT <br /> <br />4 <br />
