Corner lots require a minimum driveway setback of 30
feet (Section 703.04) thus the request is for a 25-foot variance.
Lloyd indicated that the property owner prefers to keep the driveway in its current
location and that staff concluded no reasonable alternatives exist and no impact on
general health, safety, and welfare of neighborhood. Neighbors have provided the City
with e-mail supporting the request. Staff recommends approval of the 25-foot
VARIANCE.
Bloom indicated that the driveway is 5 feet form the property line and 20 feet from the
roadway curb or street.
Member Doherty moved, seconded by Member Boerigter, to approve a 25-foot
VARIANCE to Section 703.04 of the Roseville City Code, based on the comments in
Section 3 of the project report dated May 3, 2006.
Ayes: 3 Nays: 0 Abstain: 0
Motion Carried: 3 to 0.
Chair Bakeman explained the process and appeals for the decision.

PLANNING FILE 3727:
d.
